David Belle: founder of Parkour and star of Brick Mansions speaks with Tim Shieff in this exclusive interview. We find out what David Belle has been up to the past couple of years, what inspired him to do Parkour? how he feels the sport of Parkour and Freerunning has evolved and his thoughts on competition. It has been several years since an interview has been done with David and he wanted to do this one to clarify several things including his absence as the sport of Parkour and Freerunning has grown, and where he thinks Parkour and Freerunning could go. Recently David Belle has met with people who he feels can help him grow and develop Parkour further into something he always wanted it to be, as he says in the interview “Many things are going to change for Parkour.”

Parkulture is proud to support David Belle as a friend and mentor to a community of young athletes worldwide. We are happy to see that he will be taking on a more prominent role in the discipline and believe that his leadership and guidance an only lead to a great future for Parkour and Freerunning. We are also fully committed to his efforts and his passion to recognize how parkour has developed around the world and share his vision in helping all traceurs, traceuses and freerunners from every corner of the world. #parkourforpeace
